Alumni Mentorship Program: Mentor Application

Thank you for your interest in participating as a mentor within the program! Before applying, please review the expectations, guidelines, and program timeline:
  • The program will officially commence in September 2025 and conclude in February 2026. All BBYO alumni are welcome to apply.
  • Applications are due by June 30th, 2025. Applicants will be notified, and mentorship pairings will be announced by August 1st, 2025.
  • Mentors are expected to meet monthly with their mentee between September – February.
    • Mentees will come prepared with specific asks or action items to work through.
    • Mentees are responsible for finding a suitable time/place to meet with their mentors individually (virtually or in-person based on preference).
  • In addition to meeting monthly with your mentee, participants are required to attend four virtual sessions throughout the 6-month program:
    • Tuesday, September 9 at 8 PM ET: Mentorship Kickoff: Beginning a Journey of Growth and Guidance
    • Tuesday, October 21 at 8 PM ET: The Power of Applied Optimism: Solving Tough Problems with Purpose, Knowledge, and Wonder with Seth Cohen 
    • Wednesday, November 5 at 8 PM ET: Inspiring Innovation: How Everyday Employees Can Become Intrapreneurs
    • Wednesday, December 3 at 8 PM ET: The Power of Both/And Thinking
  • The program will culminate with an in-person retreat on February 12, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA ahead of BBYO’s International Convention.
  • There will be an optional in-person meetup at the 2025 Forbes Under 30 Summit (more details to come!)
  • A contribution of $180 to the BBYO Annual Campaign is required to participate in this program.
