2025 Bay Area Israel Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Bay Area Israel Scholarship! All applicants must be registered for a BBYO Summer Experience with a deposit prior to applying for the scholarship.

This application is open to Jewish teens traveling on BBYO Summer Programs to Israel from San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.
Participants in Palo Alto, Stanford, Los Altos and Mountain View are also eligible. Unfortunately, not all of Santa Clara County is eligible for funding. Contact Julia Cinnamon, jcinnamon@bbyo.org for more information on eligibility.

*This funding is made possible through funding distributed by the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund (JCFEF), and eligible applicants must live in the catchment area of JCFEF.*

We realize that funds for financial assistance are extremely limited and that receiving the full amount of funds requested is not guaranteed.

To receive scholarship awards, participants must successfully complete the program, which means participants must attend, and complete the program without any disciplinary problems. Should the participant be sent home for disciplinary problems, they must reimburse BBYO for the scholarship award.
